I just can’t imagine Christmas without the iconic Coca‑Cola Christmas truck and their recognizable Santa. I guess I’m just one of those persons who, simply put, grew up with the Coca‑Cola Christmas spirit. Most of you will agree with me that holiday season starts when we see the red truck rolling from the “Holidays Are Coming” TV Ads. That’s why we announce that season of the Christmas spirit has officially started.
Six-week nationwide tour across the UK will be presented by the English singer and pianist, Myleene Klass, in order to spread the magic of Christmas. The truck will visit over a million people across the country and it will travel over 6,000 miles spreading the spirit of Christmas holidays with joy and happiness with the well known Coca-Cola soundtrack.
Coca-Cola Christmas tradition is 80 years old and it’s the one of the most famous Christmas ads, all thanks to Haddon Sundblom. In 1931, this Swedish-American artist created the iconic Coca-Cola Santa Claus. This year truck tour will celebrate its 80th birthday. If you want to be a part of this anniversary, you can track the trucks on http://www.cokezone.co.uk and feel the Christmas spirit on the streets of London.
“The iconic Christmas Coca‑Cola Trucks from ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advertising campaign, are loved by millions of people across the world, and for many their appearance signals the start of the holiday season. We’re really excited to be building festive anticipation in cities across the country, propelling the nation into celebratory action and spreading some holiday spirit along the way.” – Zoe Howorth, Coca-Cola, Great Britain Market Activation Director
Myleene Klass says: “I have always loved the Coca-Cola Christmas trucks and the magical ‘Holidays are coming’ advertising. The first time I see them on screen it starts my countdown to Christmas – so I’m delighted to be sending the truck off around the country on its special festive tour with a big Christmas wish from me!”
