The holidays are coming, and so are the very well known Coca-Cola’s global holiday ads. This time, the “Shake Up Christmas” anthem is interpreted by Natasha Bedingfield. She recorded this song in six different languages, combining her unique vocal style with a beautiful Coke commercial.

Looks like a 2010 holiday campaign? But who will explain better  joy of Christmas than Coca-Cola’s iconic Santa Clause, while he’s shaking his snow globe, bringing all the people together with a memorable tune.

Alongside the ad, Coca-Cola is introducing new TV spots, mobile and online experiences, and in-store promotions. The campaign is an extension of the global marketing platform “Open Happiness” and it will be launched in 90 different countries. There is a digital campaign too: It will include new mobile application which will create and share personalized Christmas greetings by cropping a photo into a dance performance to “Shake Up Christmas”, a new Facebook gaming app and gifting bunch of mobile assets such as Christmas wallpapers and ringtones.

“The holidays, in particular, are a time when people take pleasure in coming together and honoring tradition,” said Shay Drohan, SVP, Sparkling Brands, The Coca-Cola Company. “Last year, we added the snow globe to our lexicon of iconic holiday images that includes Santa Claus and the Coca-Cola Holiday Caravan trucks. This year, we continue the tradition of holiday storytelling, but we’ve refreshed the campaign with new creative and Natasha Bedingfield’s unparalleled talent.”

Like every other year, Coca-Cola is bringing happiness to people, which is the most important thing when it comes to making a strong bond with consumers. Maybe some of you will say that Coke is becoming boring, but then again, when someone says ‘Santa Clause’ to you, you automatically think about Coke’s Santa, right?
