Christian Dior has signed movie star Mila Kunis (known for Black Swan, Friends With Benefits, and let’s not forget That 70’s Show) to be the new face of the fashion house, which is not much of a surprise because the actress made a huge comeback in 2010/11 by acting in Black Swan, making her a rising star in the industry that symbolizes unique beauty and strength – and also – a big hit at the moment. The actress will appear in Dior’s spring fashion campaign shot by acclaimed photographer Mikael Jansso. The campaign kicks off in China on January 15, followed by publications in Europe, while the campaign debut in the US will be featured in the The New York Times on January 29.
As the title says, this is just an announcement for the campaign followed by a few pictures that reveal that it will probably be set in a pale, soft-lit romantic atmosphere with Mila Kunis contrasting the scenery wearing only black, and of course, Miss Dior handbags. The official ads will launch this month, so expect a new post soon, where we will actually see how the advertisement itself will look – although I think we won’t be disappointed.
