IKEA has announced the launch of a new cross-platform advertising campaign named “Bright, Shiny Colors” that aims to bring a little color to customer’s everyday lives. Next to the new interactive IKEA 2013 Catalogue, the campaign will consist of TV advertisements (premieres 8th September in the UK and Ireland) and a two-minute ‘music video’ on YouTube, made by Mother London, which you can check out below:

My first reaction was “Aww this is so colorful and lovely” – then I got freaked out by the singing floating lips and, after that, the ad became a bit too much for my taste.

I guess segments of it used for TV commercials will look nice and, hey, who could resist so much color and dancing? Although I was expecting something a bit more clever from IKEA.
