Beerletariats of all countries, unite! Whenever you meet somebody from a different country, you will try to relate to them and where they are from by connecting it to your personal experience within that particular region. For me, a solid icebreaker is soccer, since it is just barely shy of being it’s own religion. Furthermore, watching soccer without a brewski is almost like going to McDonald’s to eat a salad: it might be healthier, but you know what you’re getting yourself into when you walked in, so please do it right.

The reason why I brought up soccer is because it is the most popular sport on the planet and national competitions such as World Cup and Euro bring so much national pride, and guess what national product always “bleeds” the colors of the nation. You guessed right – beer. Beer is also number one sponsor of national teams in terms of money spent on commercials during such events. Why? Because you need do drink something cold and yummy while watching a game.
