Nutella, probably the world’s most addictive chocolate-hazelnut spread, turns 50 this year. In order to celebrate it in a style, the brand is inviting customers to share their most memorable experiences and memories starring the iconic Nutella jar.

On, fans of the brand are invited to submit all kind of content: photos, videos or text reminiscing funniest or most touching anecdotes spent with Nutella. In many parts of the world, Nutella is an essential part of breakfast with a growing base of fans – reportedly Nutella has the 3rd most “liked” facebook fan page.

While all Nutella fans around the globe are invited to share their brand-related anecdotes on the dedicated website, it is the Canadians that have the lucky opportunity of also entering in the $10,000 trip to Italy drawing and sending a special sample Nutella to a significant other.

Laura MacCarthy, Group Brand Director for Ferrero Canada, highlighted the campaign’s objectives: “This campaign is all about giving back to the fans and celebrating their stories over the past 50 years.” As a culmination, the international anniversary campaign concludes on May 18, 2014 with a birthday event for the fans in selected countries throughout the world.
