Honest Tea recently updated its ingredients, logo and labeling. The company, entirely owned by Coca-Cola, has joined 1% for the Planet and commited to donate at least 1% of its sales from the bottled tea line to the organization.
Furthermore, Honest Tea has introduced several new flavors, such as Radiant Raspberry, and organic sugar (certified by Fair Trade Certified) to its whole range of teas.
Seth Goldman, the company’s co-founder & TeaEO, says:
“We are thrilled to make the switch to Fair Trade Certified sugar and sign on with 1% for the Planet…To mark the occasion, for the first time in 16 years, we (nervously) took steps to refresh the look of our much-loved glass line. We surprised ourselves with the new label design – a fun, eye-catching way to expand on our story.”
The iconic “T” logo has received an artsy look, realism painting done by an oil painter who joined the Honest Tea creative team and came up with such an incredible concept. As you can see, each variety receives a special paint according to its ingredients.
