So far, the Periscope live streaming app launched by Twitter in March this year has been used mostly for promoting fashion brands, such as Burberry, Target, and now Bacardi Ltd. owned liqueur brand St Germain, have proven that brands from different industries can be as stylish and fit for promotion via this channel.
To create the magic that would attract the Twitter crowd, agency Possible and production company Believe Media hired director Floria Sigismondi and actress Hannah Simone from the show “New Girl.” What came out from this collaboration is a stylish and sort of old-fashioned burlesque style “Peep Show,” that streamed via Periscope in a period of 24 hours.
During that time you could literally peep into a dressing room, watching the enchanting Simone dancing in stylish and sassy underwear, like an old-fashion erotic cabaret performance. There were in total 4 different live shows, all captured by Sigismondi on an iPhone. While watching, the viewers were asked to tweet their suggestions for the upcoming scene and in a way play the directors themselves.
