Q(uirino) Malandrino
With a 40-plus-year career, Q has built brand and identity programs across nearly every industry, becoming a thought leader in brand positioning, architecture, and culture. His client roster comprises a third of the Fortune 100, including Apple, IBM, Intel, Xerox, Johnson & Johnson, AT&T, Verizon, Philips, Roche. An Italian from Rome, Q came to New York in 1981 and founded MARQ Design, which was then acquired in 1990 by Interbrand, where Q led the Corporate Identity practice through Omnicom’s 1994 acquisition. He then started another firm, Brandlink, which was again incorporated—in 2005—into Interbrand, where Q then served as Executive Director of Strategy in the US and Europe. Afterwards, Q served as Global Head of Strategy at Edelman Delta from 2018 to 2025. And in April 2025, he founded Masterbranded, focusing on brand fundamentals.
