After a number of campaigns by the milk chocolate brand Milka about the Alpes, fresh air, milk chocolate and marmots, comes the famous one which tells a tale about a little purple cow being born. The purple cow and the color purple itself have always been a strong symbol of Milka, making it a strong brand and a chocolate that really stands out on the shelves.

A few days a go the tale of the little purple cow being born finally came true. What did I just read you ask your self? Well it’s true – in the Serbian village Jezdine near the city Čačak, a purple cow was born. Well, technically, it’s kinda grey, but it still is purple…ish. Nonetheless, as soon as the guys at Kraft Foods East Adriatic (which hold the Milka brand) heard about it, they went to the village and gave the Glavonjić family Milka gifts!

We were pleasantly surprised that the people from Milka thought of us. We were delighted by their gesture of sending us these beautiful gifts as soon as they heard that our cow Djurdja has given birth to a little purple cow. We didn’t expect anything like this nor that they will react this quick. We thanked them for it – said Radmila Glavonjić, the owner of the purple cow.

The people at Craft Foods East Adriatic have congratulated the Glavonjić family:

With its birth the little purple bundle of joy delighted the whole country – everyone grew soft on him. He wakens the most gentle feelings in people and we believe that miracles do happen and that the Glavonjić family deserved this miracle because of their gentleness and goodness. We wish the Glavonjić family and the little purple cow for it to grow up nice and healthy. We are really happy and proud – says the statement from Kraft Foods East Adriatic (writes Blic Serbia).
