Celebrating rich history, the luxury brand Cartier has put all of its efforts to amaze us with its latest short film entitled L’Odyssée de Cartier. This digital piece of art is directed by Bruno Aveillan, a masterpiece that took almost two years to complete. The panther, being the brand’s main iconic symbol, takes us through his glamorous journey around the globe marking the 165 years-old rich Cartier history. La Panthère has survived as a brand symbol because of Jeanne Toussaint’s nickname, who created the famous bracelet for the Duchess of Windsor as the first piece of panther jewellery ever.

“This project has been treated like a real movie. We wanted the best special effects, a big director, an incredible model and props to intertwine with our incredible history. We want to build up an awareness of Cartier worldwide to give us hige impact around the world. It’s not a commercial decision, more a celebration of our history and a chance for us to bring that to a wider audience,” said Cartier UK’s executive chairman Arnaud M.Bamberger.

The beautiful animal crosses the streets of St Petersburg in the snow, faces a golden dragon in China and shows us the beauty of India upon an elephant’s back. Of course, everything ends with Paris, brand’s birthplace since 1847, founded by Louis-François Cartier. This is a three and a half minute breathtaking journey with fascinating special effects and photography. I’m truly amazed, Cartier has explained us once again what means being a glamorous and luxury brand for over a century and a half.
